Why Medical Missions Matter
In many regions around the world, access to gynecologic specialists and advanced medical care is limited due to shortages of trained providers and healthcare resources. Medical missions help bridge this gap by bringing experienced specialists and equipment directly to communities in need.

Anna Le, MD, FACOG, CEO
Founder / Executive Director
Dr. Anna Le is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and founder of Annandale OB-GYN and Anna Health. She established Anna Health Global to expand access to advanced women’s healthcare through international medical missions, physician education, and community partnerships. Her work focuses on bringing modern surgical care, preventive medicine, and women’s health resources to underserved populations.
Rami Tabbarah, MD, FACOG, CMO
Medical Director
Dr. Rami Tabbarah is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist specializing in minimally invasive and robotic gynecologic surgery. As Medical Director of Anna Health Global, he helps lead international surgical missions that provide complex care and advanced procedures to patients who otherwise would not have access. His work also focuses on training local physicians and strengthening long-term clinical capacity in the communities served.
Payam Katebi Kashi, MD, PhD, CRO
Research Director / Program Lead
Dr. Payam Katebi Kashi is a physician-scientist whose work focuses on advancing research and innovation in women’s health. As Research Director for Anna Health Global, he helps evaluate the impact of medical missions and supports initiatives that expand access to safe, evidence-based surgical care worldwide. His efforts help translate clinical experience from mission work into research and education that benefits patients both locally and globally.
